Job DescriptionJob Description Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer (P.Eng.) - Edmonton, AB Our client, a well-established and highly respected engineering consultancy, is looking to add an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer (P.Eng.) to their growing Edmonton team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative group delivering technically challenging work across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects throughout Canada. The organization offers a full-spectrum geotechnical service line, supporting projects from early-stage site investigations and laboratory testing through to detailed design and construction oversight. Their work spans a wide range of sectors including transportation, commercial and industrial developments, water and wastewater, transmission, and oil & gas . You will be joining a local team of experienced geotechnical professionals, with access to a broader national network of technical specialists. The Opportunity This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys a balance of technical work, project delivery, and client interaction. Key responsibilities include: Managing and delivering geotechnical projects from proposal stage through to completion Coordinating field investigations, laboratory testing, analysis, and reporting Acting as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring strong communication and service delivery Providing technical input on complex geotechnical challenges Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and EITs Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across a variety of infrastructure projects Why This Role?
