Industrial Security Guard - Class 5 Licence Required at Securiguard Services Ltd. — NeverHard

Securiguard is currently seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Officers to join our team at the Co-op Refinery in Regina. This is a high-profile industrial environment where attention to detail, sound judgment, and exceptional customer service are critical to success. As an Industrial Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment while building strong relationships with refinery staff, contractors, and visitors. Position Overview In this role, you will be responsible for access control, scheduled and mobile patrols, monitoring security systems, incident response, and supporting overall safety and operational protocols. You will work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, high-traffic industrial setting. Shift Availability We are hiring for multiple permanent positions, with some working 7 on and 7 off rotating days and nights, specific shift packages to be discussed upon hiring. Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist employees, contractors, and visitors while verifying identification and issuing access credentials Control access at entry and exit points using electronic systems and physical checks Conduct scheduled interior, exterior, and mobile patrols to maintain presence and identify risks Conduct vehicle searches of contractor vehicles Monitor and document security systems, alarms, and CCTV activity Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and complaints Provide first response support and coordinate with emergency services when required Secure doors, enforce site policies, procedures, and safety regulations Protect client assets from theft, vandalism, trespassing, and safety concerns Complete detailed incident reports, daily logs, and maintenance records Liaise effectively with site management and internal security teams Maintain a visible, professional, and customer-focused presence at all times Qualifications & Requirements Willing to Obtain Saskatchewan Security Guard License Authorized to work in Canada First Aid/CPR certification an asset Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver's licence Clean driver's abstract (past 12 months) Clean criminal record check Clean shaven appearance needed Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient with basic computer and phone systems Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods Previous experience in an industrial or oil & gas environment is considered an asset Skills & Competencies Strong situational awareness and decision-making abilities Calm, confident, and professional under pressure Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills High level of integrity and accountability Ability to follow strict procedures and security protocols Leadership mindset and problem-solving skills What We Offer Hourly wage starting at $18.50 Comprehensive benefits package Permanent employment opportunities Full uniform provided at no cost Paid training and site-specific orientation Continuing education covered through Securiguard university Career growth and advancement opportunities Supportive and team-oriented work environment Did you know?
