We are excited to welcome a new team member to our growing organization. ICI is currently seeking a motivated and dependable Operations Team Member to join our Scandia team. Operations staff are critical to the success of our business and play an essential role in supporting day-to-day operations, customer service, and product delivery. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a team environment, and takes pride in maintaining safe and efficient operations. Hours of Work: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00pm with seasonal changes in workload. Compensation: $28-$30/hour SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES Facility & Yard Operations: Assist in maintaining clean, organized, and safe facilities, yards, and storage areas Support the efficient use and organization of physical storage facilities Ensure products and equipment are stored safely and securely Follow all company safety procedures, operational standards, and regulatory requirements Fertilizer & Product Handling Assist with blending dry fertilizer according to operational requirements Receive, unload, and properly store incoming product shipments Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently Prepare and stage products for customer delivery or pickup Assist with inventory movement and product organization Equipment Operation & Maintenance Operate equipment such as forklifts, loaders, and bobcats in a safe and responsible manner Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on equipment and facilities Report maintenance concerns or equipment issues promptly to management Support operational efficiency by ensuring equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use Customer Service & Delivery Support Deliver chemical and fertilizer products to customers in a safe and professional manner Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and team members Assist with ensuring timely and accurate product deliveries Represent ICI professionally while interacting with customers and stakeholders Team Collaboration Work collaboratively with operations, agronomy, and management teams to support business goals Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace culture Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Manager JOB REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED equivalent Valid Class 3 driver’s license or willingness to obtain Previous experience in operations, agriculture, or a related field considered an asset Knowledge of fertilizer and agricultural products considered an asset Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to complete routine maintenance and repair Experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, bobcats, and forklifts preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence BENEFITS AND PERKS Competitive salary Benefits package, including health and lifestyle spending accounts Training and Development opportunities Dynamic and supportive work environment Casual Dress This posting remains open until a suitable candidate is found.
