ABOUT THIS CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Black & McDonald Limited is seeking an HVAC/R Service Technician at our location in Dieppe NB. The successful candidate will maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair various HVAC/R and gas equipment and systems within a portfolio of buildings to achieve optimum life span of the equipment.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC/R and gas equipment in accordance with manufacturer and company specifications.
Complete digital work orders, detailed reports and daily digital time summaries.
Ensure safe working conditions are enforced and strictly adhered to in accordance to company policy.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
4+ years experience in an HVAC/R service and maintenance position.
SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Red Seal Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Certification.
G1,G2 or G3 License or Gas Fitter Class A / B (or Apprentice) would be an asset.
Valid Class 5 driver's license.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Reliability Security Clearance, as well as other site specific clearances.
Experience using mobile technologies required.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to read and work from HVAC, mechanical schematics, electrical schematics, line drawings, etc.
Knowledge in a variety of electronic, pneumatic, and DDC control systems an asset.
Strong mechanical ability and problem solving skills.
Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment and the ability to meet deadlines.
