Role Summary
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Human Resources Partner is a critical dual-focused role responsible for the administration, optimization, and support of Century Group’s Human Capital Management (HCM) platform, Dayforce, while also providing essential HR partnership and coaching to employees and leaders. This role serves as a crucial link between the HR function, and its business partners, ensuring the HR technology strategy aligns with business objectives, provides accurate and efficient HR services, and supports leaders in building high-performing teams across Century Group’s divisions.
Key Accountabilities
Manage the configuration, maintenance, and testing of Dayforce, including systems updates, new feature releases, and annual processes and HR Programs (e.g., engagement surveys, performance reviews, year-end)
Improves processes, systems, procedures and policies to ensure human resource practices are effective and in alignment with both Century Group values and HR best practices, often leveraging HCM system capabilities. Including maintaining comprehensive system documentation, user manuals, and training materials
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated system issues, partnering with Dayforce support and other team members as necessary
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and other business partners to review current processes and identify opportunities for improvement using Dayforce functionality
Maintain data integrity within Dayforce through regular audits, data cleanup, and establishing best practices for data entry
Own the Dayforce security framework, managing user roles, permissions, and access to maintain data privacy and system integrity
Prepare and manage Jostle (Intranet) content with support and guidance from the Director and team. Ensure corporate visual guidelines are adhered to. Troubleshoot issues, act as primary contact for technical issues; guide and test solutions
Assists in the review and development of HR materials (policies, process documentation, procedure manuals) in collaboration with the rest of the HR team
Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on their interpretation and execution of HR policies and programs such as performance management, development plans, and job design
Provide assistance to employees on work-related issues and concerns, leveraging system knowledge to resolve questions efficiently and effectively
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Computer Technology or a related field complemented by 3 to 5 years of progressive experience within the field
2+ years of proven, hands-on Dayforce Administration experience
Experience with Dayforce implementation is an asset
Possession or in the process of attaining a CPHR designation is an asset

Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak, listen and write in a clear manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques. Strong relationship building, influencing, coaching and persuasion skills. Effective training and presentation skills
Good judgment and the ability to work with a high level of independence while demonstrating a good sense of when it is appropriate to escalate issues to the Director, HR
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the proven ability to use these skills to distill information from a variety of sources into themes, to develop solutions to problems and/or to develop new and innovative ways to perform work tasks
Demonstrated aptitude with the Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail etc.) and with other technology tools including Dayforce
Strategic outlook to support the objectives and goals for both the HR Department and the business
Ability to handle confidential situations and information with sensitivity, tact and discretion.
Solid understanding of core HR processes across multiple functions (e.g., Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, Talent Management, employment law and related legislation)
Ability to travel to other work sites - Driver’s License required
