Human Resources Business Partner
to support our growing team across both our distribution operations and corporate office.

About the Role
As our new
HR Business Partner
, you will be a key player in supporting the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding and employee relations to performance management and talent development. You’ll work closely with managers and employees alike, offering guidance, building trust, and ensuring a consistent, people‑first approach to HR across our organization.
You’ll be hands‑on and strategic, ensuring our HR practices align with operational needs while helping foster a strong, collaborative culture across all levels of the business.
What You’ll Do
Be a trusted partner
Provide day‑to‑day HR support to leaders and team members across the organization.
Advise on employee relations matters, ensuring issues are resolved fairly, consistently, and in line with employment legislation.
Support workplace investigations and documentation with professionalism and discretion.
Support performance and talent development
Guide and support annual performance reviews, development planning, and succession conversations.
Help managers build strong, accountable teams through coaching and structured feedback processes.
Track and analyze HR data using Ceridian Dayforce to support decision‑making and improve employee outcomes.
Coach and develop people leaders
Deliver practical coaching and guidance to managers on topics like leadership, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.
Support employee performance improvement and disciplinary processes with clarity and confidence.
Help shape a high‑performance culture where leadership and accountability are key.
Lead policy alignment and process improvement
Apply and uphold HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency, compliance, and fairness.
Contribute to ongoing HR initiatives, including process mapping, surveys, and employee experience improvements.
Support hiring and onboarding
Collaborate with department leaders and external recruitment partners to coordinate hiring and onboarding activities.
Facilitate smooth new hire onboarding experiences and analyze feedback to improve retention and engagement.
What You Bring
Experience in HR Generalist roles
, ideally within distribution, manufacturing, or related industries.
A strong grasp of
HR best practices, employment law, and compliance
in Ontario.
Proven ability to manage
employee relations
with empathy, fairness, and confidence.
Experience using
HRIS platforms
(preferably Ceridian Dayforce) to manage employee data and reporting.
Comfort delivering
manager training and one‑on‑one coaching
to build leadership capabilities.
A proactive, adaptable approach to managing multiple HR priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
Exceptional
communication and interpersonal skills
, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
