Our client is a highly successful listed mining contractor who, due to further growth, has created a new opportunity for an HR Superintendent to join their site based team - Drive In, Drive Out. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a high-performing operational team in a site-based HR Superintendent capacity. Operating on a Drive-In, Drive-Out (DIDO) roster 5:2/4:3, this critical role forms part of the site's senior leadership team and plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the people strategy within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this position is responsible for leading all on-site human resources activities, partnering closely with leaders to drive performance, culture, and workforce outcomes. You will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders while ensuring alignment between business objectives and people initiatives. Core Responsibilities Include: Contributing as a core member of the site senior leadership team, influencing operational and strategic decision‑making Developing and executing site-based people strategies aligned with broader organisational goals Analysing workforce data and HR metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, driving proactive interventions Leading and managing complex and escalated employee relations matters with a balanced, commercially focused approach Partnering with operational leaders to strengthen capability, engagement, and performance across the workforce Implementing initiatives that enhance culture, leadership effectiveness, and workforce productivity Providing risk mitigation strategies across all HR disciplines, including compliance, employee relations, and workforce planning Maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients and key external stakeholders, representing the business in a client‑facing capacity To be successful in your application, you will have demonstrated experience in either a senior site based human resources role or a strategic HR-based role from within the mining and resources, or the heavy industrial sector. You will possess prior team management experience, be a strong coach and advisor to senior leadership teams. You will possess excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills and, ideally, have prior experience in client‑facing roles.
