This role covers the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding, with a strong focus on day-to-day HR operations, Payroll & Compensation, HRIS, Day-to-Day Employee Support, compliance with local labor code, HR policies and procedures, compensation and benefits. Key Responsibilities: 1. Recruitment & Onboarding Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviews, and hiring Prepare contracts and oversee onboarding for all staff, including expatriates Coordinate induction and orientation programs for new employees, volunteers, and contractors Conduct background checks, reference checks, and ensure all compliance requirements are met manage all KZ formalities required for ensuring the legality of work of expat employees. 2. HR Management & Administration Maintain accurate HR records and oversee the Human Resource Information System Monitor contracts, staffing needs, and workforce planning Prepare HR reports and ensure compliance with national regulations and reporting systems Manage HR processes and staff leave administration Coordinate visa processes, relocation logistics, and documentation for international staff 3. Employee Relations & Development Support staff wellbeing, engagement, and performance management processes Advise leadership on HR policies, employment conditions, and best practices Oversee appraisal systems, professional development, and recognition programs Handle employee relations matters and provide guidance to staff and leadership. Education and Qualifications: What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in HR, especially in recruitment, onboarding, or international staff support. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with flexibility. Experience in an international or academic environment is a plus. at least 3 years of progressive experience in HR management, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Strong background in HR policies, recruitment, and employee relations, and understanding of HR laws and practices. Previous experience working with both expat and local staff is desirable.
