Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription Mission: Provide reliable, on site HR coordination and administrative support for the Brockville facility, ensuring continuity of day to day HR services while the HR Business Partner focuses on strategic, complex, and high risk people matters. Act as the first point of contact for employee questions, systems support, and scheduling—escalating appropriately and supporting leaders with timely, accurate HR administration Outcomes:• Provide consistent on site HR coverage by responding to employee and leader HR inquiries within 1 business day and ensuring appropriate resolution or escalation of issues 100% of the time. • Complete weekly timecard reviews and approvals accurately and on time, achieving zero missed payroll deadlines and fewer than 2 corrections per pay period related to HR processing errors. • Resolve or appropriately route at least 75% of routine HR and ADP-related questions independently (e.g., timekeeping, access, benefits navigation), escalating only higher risk or complex matters to the HRBP or HR Manager. • Support recruitment activities by coordinating 100% of interview scheduling, candidate communications, and logistics, and participating in interviews when required to prevent delays due to HRBP absence. • Ensure timely and accurate employee onboarding and HR system setup by assisting employees with ADP access, benefits enrollment, and documentation completion within 5 business days of start date. • Maintain continuity during HRBP absences by documenting and escalating all urgent people issues within same business day, partnering directly with HR Manager to ensure no critical employee or leadership concern goes unaddressed. Role Competencies:• Digital Fluency & Systems Comfort – Highly comfortable using computers and navigating multiple systems; able to quickly learn new software, troubleshoot basic issues, and adapt to changing tools with minimal instruction. • Learning Agility & Curiosity – Proactively seeks out information, explores answers independently, and applies learning quickly instead of waiting to be told what to do. • Sound Judgment & Common Sense – Demonstrates practical thinking and good judgment; able to recognize routine questions versus sensitive issues and escalate appropriately. • Organization & Follow Through – Effectively manages multiple requests, deadlines, and details; consistently tracks tasks to completion without needing reminders. • Professional Communication – Communicates clearly, respectfully, and confidently with employees and leaders; asks good questions and provides accurate information or next steps. • Calm, Approachable Presence – Maintains composure in a fast paced manufacturing environment; approachable and steady when employees bring questions, concerns, or frustrations. • Information Organization & Attention to Detail – Consistently organizes, labels, and maintains information accurately, following established guidelines and recognizing when accuracy and completeness are critical.
