Northern Roads Auto Group is growing and so is our Corporate team!
We're looking for an energetic, organized and people-focused
HR Assistant
to join us at an exciting time in our company's growth.
And your office won't be your average corporate office... You'll work out of our
Corporate Headquarters, located within our brand-new, state-of-the-art Kia image facility in Niagara Falls.

As part of a growing automotive group, you'll get hands-on exposure to HR across multiple dealerships and work alongside our leadership teams to support the people who keep Northern Roads moving.
What Will You Actually Do?
A little bit of everything — and that's what makes this role fun.
You'll help support the employee experience from the moment someone applies to join us and throughout their career with Northern Roads.
Your days could include:
Posting jobs and helping us find our next great hire
Screening resumes and coordinating interviews
Preparing offer letters, employment agreements and employee documentation
Welcoming and onboarding new employees
Keeping employee files and HR records organized and up to date
Supporting attendance, vacation and leave administration
Assisting with benefits and payroll-related changes
Coordinating employee training, travel and accommodations
Helping organize employee events, recognition programs and engagement initiatives
Creating internal communications and employee announcements
Assisting with health & safety, WSIB and compliance administration
Preparing reports, spreadsheets and HR correspondence
Answering everyday employee questions and helping point people in the right direction
Supporting our Director of Corporate Operations & Culture with HR initiatives and special projects
Jumping in wherever needed because when you're part of a growing company, there's always something happening!
You Might Be Our Person If...
You're someone who notices the little things, loves a good checklist and doesn't panic when five things land on your desk at once.
You're also:
Friendly, approachable and comfortable working with different personalities
Extremely organized
and detail-oriented
Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and technically savvy
A strong communicator, both written and verbal
Comfortable working in a
fast-paced environment
Able to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and confidentiality
A proactive self-starter who sees something that needs doing and gets it done
Interested in building a career in
Human Resources
Have a G driver's license and clean driver's abstract
A team player who doesn't take themselves too seriously but knows when it's time to get down to business
Post-secondary education in
Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
is preferred, and previous HR or administrative experience is an asset.
