Job DescriptionJob Description Position Summary We are seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join the HR team on a temporary contract basis. This role will provide administrative and recruitment support during a period of growth and workforce expansion across multiple healthcare service locations in Toronto. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Coordinator will support a variety of human resources functions, with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, employee file management, and HR administration. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation. Create and post job advertisements across various recruitment platforms. Screen resumes and coordinate candidate communications. Schedule interviews and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. Support recruitment efforts for a variety of healthcare and community-based roles, including nurses, physiotherapists, personal support workers, registered social workers, chiropodists, and case managers. Assist with the organization, management, and digitization of employee files. Ensure employee documentation remains compliant with organizational and legislative requirements. Support the preparation of HR reports and administrative documentation. Respond to employee and manager inquiries and provide general HR support. Provide additional administrative support as required. Qualifications Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Previous co-op, internship, or HR experience considered an asset. Working knowledge of HR principles and employment practices. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR-related systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility when responding to changing business needs. Work Environment Contract position Full-time, 35 hours per week. Monday to Friday schedule. Flexible work hours available (8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., or 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). Hybrid work arrangement with approximately four days onsite per week. Occasional travel between community-based locations in West Toronto may be required; access to a vehicle is considered an asset. Additional Requirements Successful completion of reference checks.
