HR & Accounting Administrator
Location:
Leduc, Alberta
A growing oilfield technology organization is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR & Accounting Administrator to support multiple business units from our Leduc, Alberta location.
This position plays a critical role in the day-to-day administration of HR, payroll, accounting, and office operations. The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter who takes ownership of responsibilities, manages competing priorities effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administer payroll and employee benefits programs
Coordinate employee onboarding, orientations, and HR documentation
Maintain personnel files and support HR compliance requirements
Process customer and vendor setup documentation
Assist with invoice processing, billing activities, and collections follow-up
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable administration
Track purchase orders and assist with procurement activities
Manage employee expense submissions and reporting
Provide office administration, document control, and record management support
Coordinate employee compliance programs, including drug and alcohol testing requirements
Support accounting, finance, payroll, and HR functions as required
Assist with reporting and administrative projects to support business operations
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in administration, payroll, accounting, HR, or a related business support role
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Experience with payroll processing and accounting administration preferred
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional, dependable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Experience in oil & gas, manufacturing, industrial, or service-based industries is considered an asset
