Job Description
We are looking for a hematologist to join the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency in Regina on a full-time, permanent basis.
Our Hematologists provide services at both the Regina Hematology Clinic (102-4545 Parliament Avenue, Regina) and Allan Blair Cancer Centre (4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina).
Responsibilities include the care of both benign and malignant patients, with the proportion of each determined in collaboration with the team.
Hematologists are eligible for a clinical appointment in the Division of Oncology, College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan and are also involved in teaching medical students and residents at undergraduate and graduate levels.
Qualifications
The successful applicant must have obtained or be in the final stages of obtaining certification in Hematology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or have equivalent education, training, and experience.
Must be able to work in a multidisciplinary academic setting and engage collaboratively with the team.
Must also be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan, meet the requirements for membership in the medical staff of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (Regina), and hold valid Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage.

Program Overview
The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency provides prevention and early detection programs, conducts innovative research, and provides safe, patient and family-centred care at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre in Regina and the Saskatoon Cancer Centre. The provincial hematology program focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with both benign and malignant hematological conditions, including full provision of autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplant services in Saskatoon.
Compensation
Salary range for this position is $397,391 to $512,838, plus benefits.
