Job DescriptionJob Description Maxx Contracting is seeking reliable and skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join our growing team. This position is responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders and skid steers on residential and commercial construction sites. Our work includes Retaining walls, Hardscaping installation, and Civil projects. During the winter months, this role may also involve snow removal and salting operations for Multi-residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, outdoor environment year-round. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including excavators, skid steers and loaders Assist with site preparation for retaining walls, paving stone projects, and civil work Perform snow removal and salting operations during winter months as required Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and site-specific regulations Work closely with crew members to complete projects accurately and on schedule Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Adapt to changing tasks, schedules, site conditions, and weather conditions Qualifications Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and a commitment to job-site safety Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Snow removal and salting experience is an asset Valid driver’s license required Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude What We Offer Competitive wages based on experience Steady, year-round work with a reputable company Supportive team environment Opportunity to work on a variety of interesting projects
