Job DescriptionJob Description Heavy Duty Mechanic Location: Maple Ridge, BC Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift Pay: $45-$55 per hour, based on experience The Opportunity MKEE Talent Inc. is currently recruiting for an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join a team in Maple Ridge. This is a great opportunity for a skilled mechanic who enjoys working on a variety of fleet and off-road equipment and wants a consistent Monday to Friday day-shift schedule and available overtime. You'll be responsible for keeping equipment safe, reliable, and ready to work through preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs. What You Get $45-$55 per hour , based on experience Monday to Friday, day shift Full-time, permanent position Consistent weekday schedule Work on a variety of fleet and off-road equipment Opportunity to work in a hands-on environment with a strong focus on equipment reliability and safety What You'll Do Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet and off-road equipment Diagnose mechanical issues and complete necessary repairs Inspect equipment to identify safety and maintenance concerns Complete servicing, troubleshooting, and component replacement Maintain accurate service and maintenance records Ensure equipment is maintained in accordance with safety and operational requirements Support the team in keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently What You Bring Required: Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification Alberta Journeyperson, On-Road certification, or Interprovincial Red Seal CVIP certification for trucks Experience working on heavy-duty trucks, fleet equipment, and/or off-road equipment Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Commitment to workplace safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Why This Role?
