We are looking for a Truck and Transport Mechanic for the afternoon shift at our Edmonton Terminal, working Sunday to Thursday, 3:00PM - 11:30PM. Key Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, repair, and service all systems and components of transport trucks and trailers to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements Competently use hand and power tools to carry out repairs according to manufacturer’s specifications Read and understand work orders, task procedures, and interpret technical manuals Write work orders and diagnose the cause of failures Mentor and assist apprentices Perform inspections as per the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program, if licensed to do so Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor/management Our ideal candidate: Journeyman or Apprentice with 2+ years directly related experience. CVIP License will be considered an asset.
