What You'll Be Doing Inspect, maintain, and repair heavy mobile equipment including loaders, haul trucks, and support equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues efficiently Perform maintenance and repairs on stationary equipment such as conveyors, crushers, and processing systems Complete preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime Collaborate with operations teams to ensure equipment availability in both surface and underground operations What Are We Looking For Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification with strong equipment repair capability Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and hydraulic issues Working knowledge of mobile and stationary equipment systems, including crushing and conveying Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and high-quality workmanship Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a fast-paced industrial and underground environment Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
