Location: London, ON (service area)
Job Type: Part-Time
Wage Band: $25.00 to $31.00 per hour (based on experience)
All Terrain Property Maintenance Inc is hiring a Health, Safety + Compliance Coordinator to help coordinate, maintain, and continuously improve our health, safety, and compliance program across a busy landscape and property services operation. This part-time role supports the full program through health and safety administration, compliance systems, Certificate of Recognition (COR) maintenance, audits, training coordination, regulatory reporting, and consistent operational follow-through.
This is a practical coordination role for someone who is highly organized, detail-focused, confidential, and confident creating visibility, establishing touchpoints, and keeping important health, safety, and compliance priorities on track with managers, supervisors, and team members. You will help ensure the program stays current, organized, active, and improving over time through strong follow-up, clear communication, and disciplined administration.
What Youll Be Responsible For
As the Health, Safety + Compliance Coordinator, you will help coordinate, maintain, and strengthen the health, safety, and compliance program as a whole. That includes keeping the program organized and current, supporting day-to-day administration, driving follow-through, and identifying practical opportunities for continuous improvement.
You will:
Coordinate the overall health, safety, and compliance program by helping keep policies, procedures, records, routines, and follow-up activities active, current, and aligned across the business
Support ongoing continuous improvement of the program by identifying gaps, tracking recurring issues, and helping leaders improve documentation, communication, training, and accountability over time
Maintain organized health, safety, compliance, inspection, training, and incident records
Support Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) scheduling, agendas, minutes, inspection summaries, and action-item follow-up
Track corrective actions, due dates, and open safety items from identification through to completion and closeout
Drive timely follow-through on documentation, training records, incident details, inspection items, deadlines, and outstanding action items through professional, people-first communication
Support Certificate of Recognition (COR) maintenance, audit preparation, and compliance documentation
Coordinate required safety training records and proactively identify gaps before they become compliance issues
Assist with regulatory reporting and required documentation where applicable
Help managers and supervisors locate safety documents, forms, policies, records, and compliance materials
Prepare clear summaries of open items, upcoming deadlines, closeout needs, documentation gaps, and compliance priorities so leaders can act quickly
Communicate professionally with HR, managers, supervisors, field leaders, fleet/logistics, and operations
Handle confidential employee, incident, and compliance information with care
Support a consistent weekly safety administration review rhythm with HR or the hiring manager to maintain visibility, accountability, and forward motion
This role requires ownership. You are accountable for helping coordinate, maintain, and improve the health, safety, and compliance program as an active system, not just completing isolated administrative tasks. That means creating visibility around priorities, keeping documentation and routines current, maintaining clear due dates and follow-through, and helping the team stay organized, responsive, and aligned on what needs to happen next. In this part-time role, success comes from practical stewardship, consistent communication, and people-first follow-through that keeps the program moving forward.
