VetPartners Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Head Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated team in a full-time leadership role. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and compassionate professional to take the next step in their career, leading clinical nursing standards and supporting a high-performing veterinary team.
In this role, you will oversee daily nursing operations, mentor and develop nursing staff, coordinate clinical workflows, and ensure the highest standards of patient care and client service. Strong organisational skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to lead by example are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the veterinary nursing team
Maintain high standards of clinical care and patient welfare
Oversee surgical nursing, hospital procedures, and patient monitoring
Provide training, mentoring, and performance development for staff
Assist with rostering and workflow coordination
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and best practice standards
About You:
Qualified Veterinary Nurse with a Certificate IV and 3 years of clinical experience.
Previous leadership or senior nursing experience preferred
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Highly organised with a proactive, positive approach
Passionate about patient care and team development
