Head, Safety Management (QSS) at VIETJET QAZAQSTAN — NeverHard

Responsibilities: Develop and lead the regular review of measurable and achievable flight safety goals and objectives. Develop, implement, and regularly review the Flight Safety Policy in line with safety objectives, the Company’s scale and complexity of operations, RK legislation, international standards, and recommended safety practices. Organize an independent and effective Safety Management System to identify, assess, and mitigate safety risks. Develop and regularly review SMS processes and procedures. Oversee the electronic flight safety database and ensure information remains accurate and up to date. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of hazard identification and risk management processes. Prepare materials and organize Flight Safety Review Board meetings. Prepare quarterly and annual flight safety reports. Make decisions and lead internal investigations of violations and other abnormal operational safety events. Lead internal investigations of aviation incidents. Ensure the Company’s representatives participate in investigations of accidents and serious incidents. Report safety events and liaise with authorized bodies during investigations of aviation accidents and incidents. Develop SMS training programs and deliver SMS training for personnel. Analyze the effectiveness of SMS training and revise programs when necessary. Prepare and publish flight safety bulletins and information materials. Maintain and promote the reward and recognition system within the SMS framework. Qualification Requirements: Secondary specialized aviation and/or engineering technical education with at least 10 years of experience in civil aviation; and/or experience in quality management and flight safety management with at least 5 years of experience in civil aviation. At least 1 year of experience in a managerial position. Certificate or diploma in the fundamental principles of SMS. Certificate in aviation accident investigation. Audit certification is preferred. Knowledge of Russian and Kazakh languages; English at Intermediate level.
