A large international company is seeking a Head of Government Relations. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a government relations strategy aligned with business priorities Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments, assess their impact, and advise senior management Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, regulators, and industry associations Coordinate and support projects involving government stakeholders, including public initiatives, incentive programs, and regulatory processes Identify regulatory risks and implement mitigation strategies Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on government-related matters Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Economics, or a related field Mandatory prior experience within a government institution (central/local government or regulatory authority) Minimum 10 years of experience in government relations, public policy, or regulatory compliance Strong professional network within government entities and industry associations Excellent strategic thinking and negotiation skills Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities Expertise in policy analysis and risk management Fluency in Kazakh and English languages Preferred Qualifications Experience in multinational companies or large-scale projects Proven track record in policy development and government partnership initiatives
