THE CLIENT

THE ROLE
Reporting to the President & CEO, the Head of Finance will lead the finance function for a growing organization with operations across multiple entities and markets. This is a highly visible leadership role that combines strategic finance, operational oversight, and business partnership responsibilities.
The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and compliance while providing valuable financial insights to support executive decision‑making and organizational growth. In addition, the role will play a key part in driving process improvements, ERP optimization, reporting enhancements, and finance automation initiatives across the business.
This position is ideal for a hands‑on and commercially minded finance leader who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and contributing beyond the numbers to help support operational performance and long‑term business success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead all accounting and finance operations across multiple entities and international business units
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes
Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis activities
Partner with executive leadership to support strategic planning and operational initiatives
Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and compliance processes
Lead and mentor the finance team while fostering a collaborative and accountable culture
Drive ERP enhancements, automation initiatives, and reporting improvements
Develop KPI dashboards and management reporting tools to improve business visibility
Support international finance activities including consolidations, intercompany transactions, and foreign exchange considerations
Manage relationships with auditors, banking partners, and external advisors
Identify opportunities for process optimization, scalability, and operational efficiency
REQUIREMENTS
CPA designation is required
10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
Proven leadership experience managing accounting and finance teams
Experience working within multi‑entity or international organizations
Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational accounting
Experience improving ERP systems, reporting tools, or finance processes
Advanced Excel and financial analysis capabilities
Manufacturing, distribution, or global operations experience considered a strong asset
Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across all levels of the business
