Position Type: Youth Sports Program Date Posted: 8/18/2026 Location: Nixa Public Schools Date Available: 09/01/2026 Closing Date: until filled PRIMARY TASKS & MAJOR ACTIVITIES Supervise and direct all aspects of the Nixa Youth Softball program. Work with the High School Varsity softball coaches to blend fundamental teaching ideas. Organize practice plans, lead practices, distribute and maintain all gear; stress safety and proper techniques in teaching fundamentals. Supervision in all practices and game supervision before, during and after practices and games. Work with Activities Director and develop weekly practice schedules and game planning. EDUCATIONAL/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Prior softball coaching experience preferred. Willingness to understand and support the District's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan.
