Head, Ground Handling at VIETJET QAZAQSTAN — NeverHard

Responsibilities: Lead and oversee all ground handling operations, including passenger, baggage, cargo, mail and aircraft services. Ensure compliance with aviation safety, security requirements, company procedures and international standards, including IOSA. Manage cooperation with airports, ground handling companies and other service providers across the airline’s network. Support the launch of new destinations by arranging ground handling services and selecting suitable suppliers. Monitor service quality, operational performance and contractual obligations of external partners. Drive continuous improvement, digitalization and implementation of best practices within ground operations. Maintain high customer service standards and ensure effective handling of passenger feedback and complaints. Lead, develop and motivate the Ground Handling team. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; aviation-related education is preferred. MBA/EMBA is an advantage. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in civil aviation, preferably in ground handling, flight operations or aircraft operations. At least 3 years of managerial experience in ground handling. Strong knowledge of ground handling processes, aviation safety requirements and industry standards, including ICAO, IATA/IOSA and relevant ground operations manuals. Proven experience working with airports, ground handling providers, suppliers and regulatory authorities. Strong leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management and decision-making skills. Experience in process improvement, operational efficiency and implementation of new practices or technologies. Proficiency in Kazakh and English (C1).
