Required Qualifications
High School diploma or higher
Good understanding of the English language
Basic Computer Skills
Strong Electronics aptitude/knowledge of components
Strong understanding and working ability of IPC-A-610 Standards for Hand Assembly and Thru-hole Assembly
Strong Analytical Skills-Strong working knowledge of mathematical concepts such as fractions, ratios and proportions
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Must be able to work with a Microscope
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to analyze and interpret information
Minimum 2 years of inspection or production experience
Quality conscious, well organized, analytical, and reliable
Required Capabilities/Responsibilities
Responsible for assembling, soldering, and inspecting electronic components onto printed circuit boards. Ensuring secure electrical and mechanical connections for devices subject to high stress or mechanical load.
Responsible for component preparation, component insertion, soldering, quality inspection, rework and repair, testing when required.
Ability to read bill of materials, work instructions and schematics
Able to inspect boards, components under the microscope
Develop and maintain inspection reports/ Prepare and maintain test data for review
Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards
Communicate assembling, soldering and quality or compliance concerns with urgency
Adheres to company Health and Safety policies, corrects unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately
Other duties could include working in other department of the production including but not limited to Through Hole departments to provide support during absences or shortage of staff
Requires flexibility and understanding that all operator staff including hand assembly personnel may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the mission and goals of the Company and Production Manager
