The Sales Manager, Groups role focuses on identifying and managing group opportunities that generate guestroom and event F&B revenue, as well as business travel sales, across defined market segments. Responsibilities Collaborate with hotel teams, Hyatt Sales Force, Convention Bureaus and other partners to drive revenue and ensure customer satisfaction, increasing market share. Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers, industry organizations to enable future bookings through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows. Identify business travel demands based on budgeted events, including weekends and evenings. Develop and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Analyze market conditions, competitors, economic trends, and supply/demand dynamics to sell competitively. Target accounts, markets, or segments, emphasizing proactive solicitation and account saturation. Create and implement effective sales plans. Execute sales strategies to solicit specific accounts and achieve hotel and individual revenue goals. Use negotiation skills and creative selling to close business and negotiate contracts. Collect guest feedback on product quality and service levels; ensure operational teams understand guest needs. Set quarterly sales goals in collaboration with the DOSM based on budget and forecasted projections. Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills to develop, maintain, and foster constructive working relationships over time. Strong analytical ability to make decisions and solve problems by evaluating information and results. Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
