Job Description
Group Product Manager
As a key leader within our dynamic Product organization, the Group Product Manager (GPM) will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the product vision for a portfolio of HR services and technology solutions. This role is responsible for overseeing multiple products or a suite of related offerings, ensuring alignment between product strategy, customer needs, and overall business objectives. The GPM will drive innovation and business growth by leveraging market research, customer feedback, usability insights, and competitive analysis to deliver solutions that help organizations streamline and enhance their HR operations.
As a strategic and technical product leader, the GPM will define frontend and backend product capabilities, including user experience requirements and integrations with supporting services. The role will also lead and mentor a team of Product Owners, fostering agile product development practices to deliver new products, enhance existing functionality, and address product issues. Through strong collaboration and execution, the GPM will ensure a consistent delivery cadence aligned with the product roadmap and contribute to the continued success and competitiveness of isolved's HR services and technology offerings.
Core Job Duties
Manage feature set to support general experience and common components in an application.
Regularly communicate on a technical level with engineering and development, including creating detailed use cases, flows, diagrams, API specifications, and other technical documentation
Work with engineers to scope, design, and implement capabilities
Identify market trends to shape product lines
Conduct product research, requirements-gathering, and product rollout
Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
Develop and maintain product roadmaps
Using relevant criteria, review and prioritize the product roadmap
Define design processes for innovation and scalability of current and new product lines
Manage complex, cross-functional projects across multiple teams
Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
Collaborate with the development team to define features
Work with the quality assurance team to fix defects and aid in testing, leading the execution in their assigned product areas and driving the resolution of issues associated with those areas across the company
Manage and mentor a team of Product Owners, ensuring their professional growth and development.
Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the product team.
Provide clear direction and priorities to the product team.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience defining detailed technical user stories and use cases
5+ years of product management experience.
Familiarity with Agile processes and environments
Ability to define key metrics for measuring product success
Strong background in project/program management
Demonstrated experience building user experiences and platform capabilities for web products
Ability to work in a dynamic environment
Flexibility and willingness to quickly adapt to sudden changes and issues
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines
