Job DescriptionJob Description The Granite Polisher is responsible for polishing, grinding, and finishing granite, marble, quartz, and other natural or engineered stone surfaces. This role involves using hand tools and polishing machines to produce high-quality finishes while following safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Polish granite, marble, quartz, and other stone surfaces to the required finish. Operate polishing machines, grinders, edge polishers, and other stone fabrication equipment. Inspect finished products for quality, color consistency, and surface defects. Repair minor chips, scratches, and imperfections as needed. Read and follow production drawings, work orders, and specifications. Measure and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy. Qualifications: Experience in granite or stone polishing is preferred. Ability to operate polishing and grinding equipment safely. Knowledge of different stone materials and polishing techniques. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50–100 lbs with assistance or appropriate equipment).
