CoreFactor is searching for a GK Software Specialist on a permanent/full-time basis for a client in the GTA. This position is hybrid and will require the successful incumbent to be on-site four (4) days per week. Are you experienced in leveraging expertise in GK Software Point of Sale (POS) solutions to optimize retail operations and enhance customer experience? Reporting to the Platform Owner, Business Platforms, you will support the implementation and support of GK Software systems to ensure seamless integration with other technologies and business processes If you are passionate about driving operational efficiency, improving inventory management, and enabling personalized customer interactions., then this is the role for you! About the Role System Implementation and Configuration: Configuration ownership of a vendor-led implementation of GK Software solutions to align with business requirements. Configure GK Software modules to support retail operations, including point-of-sale (POS), inventory management, and customer engagement. Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of GK Software with other systems such as SAP, Blue Yonder, and Manhattan Associates. Conduct system testing, deployment packaging, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure optimal performance. System Maintenance and Support: Monitor and maintain the performance of GK Software systems to ensure reliability and uptime. Provide technical support to end-users, addressing system issues, coordinating incident restoration and defect remediation with the vendor in a timely manner. Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides, technical manuals, and configuration records. Implement software updates, patches, and upgrades as needed. Collaboration and Training: Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and customer experience, to identify and address business needs. Train end-users and stakeholders on GK Software functionalities and best practices for new release, configuration changes and operational readiness. Be the subject matter expert for GK Software, providing guidance and recommendations to optimize system usage in an advisory and enablement-focused manner. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze system data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Partner with suppliers to prepare reports and dashboards to support decision-making and track key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure data integrity and compliance with data governance standards. Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems or related experience 3+ years of experience working with GK Software solutions, including implementation and configuration. Experience in retail operations or point-of-sale (POS) systems. Experience with enterprise-related technologies such as SAP, Blue Yonder, or Manhattan Associates. Experience in large-scale system integration projects. GK Software, ITIL Foundation, or PMP Certified. Proficiency in system integration and configuration. Strong knowledge of GK Software solutions and retail systems Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards. Advanced knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools. Knowledge of Agile product methodologies.
