We are hiring a Data Center Manager to help ensure overall availability and reliability of our data center operations. Key Responsibilities Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators Manage performance of a diverse team of data center operations professionals with varying skills across multiple locations Develop and maintain career paths for employees and update records in our internal tools Recruit and train data center technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times Ensure effective and efficient management of day‑to‑day data center operations, including queue management, 24/7 shift scheduling, and hardware logistics Develop or apply subject‑matter expertise across all aspects of data center operations Ensure all operational KPIs and metrics are being measured, tracked, and consistently met Inspire and guide continuous improvement in team processes, technology innovation, and automation Manage large‑scale events, including outages, and serve as the primary call leader during escalations Manage and improve workflows and throughput across data center operations Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices and required SLAs Maintain the on‑call schedule while coordinating team absences and vacation coverage Collaborate with cross‑functional partners, including engineering, capacity planning, and facilities teams, to support operational goals Be passionate about the quality and consistency of services delivered and continuously strive to improve the customer experience Basic Qualifications More than 2 years of experience as an IT operations manager within technologist teams In‑depth experience and knowledge of Linux systems administration Experience in networking and knowledge of best practices in cabling In‑depth experience with IT architectures and expertise in troubleshooting In‑depth knowledge of data center infrastructures Bilingual in French and English, with the ability to read and write in English for complex technical instructions and concepts Preferred Qualifications Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, with the capacity to participate in on‑call rotations and provide support outside normal business hours as needed Experience with system management tools and client‑server environments Experience in project management Experience in data center Experience in technical writing in a relevant field 2+ years of project management experience 2+ years of data center experience Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience and education level About the Team We are the team that keeps the infrastructure running.
