Geomatics Analyst – AI Focus You will support aerial survey data processing, mapping, and delivery of spatial information with a specific focus on AI integration. Projects serve clients in mining, forestry, and utilities, helping with exploration, planning, and asset management. Key Responsibilities Learn and document existing GIS, geomatics, and spatial analysis workflows. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency. Develop and implement AI, machine learning, and geospatial automation solutions. Support the creation of scalable products and services that can be deployed across multiple clients. Work with GIS analysts and project managers to streamline data processing and quality assurance workflows. Help establish best practices for responsible and effective use of AI within the organization. Qualifications Working knowledge of AI, machine learning, and geospatial automation solutions. Working knowledge of GPS data collection and post-processing is an asset. Familiarity with Esri, Inpho or Terrasolid software suites is an asset. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team and independently. Superior organization skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. Advanced diploma or degree in AI and GIS/Remote Sensing or equivalent.
