Kowarsky & Company is a boutique law firm located in Vancouver downtown with a robust and wide-ranging practice that includes both solicitor and litigator components. We are looking for a general solicitor with ideally five or more years of experience in real estate conveyancing, mortgage transactions, foreclosures, wills and estates, and general corporate work. The ideal candidate would: have the desire to grow with our firm; have a warm and friendly personality, and the ability to work in a team-based environment and professionally under pressure; has strong attention to detail and solid work ethics; is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia in good standing. We provide excellent compensation commensurate with years of experience, a robust group insurance coverage, work-life balance considerations, and a great team of lawyers, paralegals and support staff to work with. We have a number of our own files for you to work on, and are happy to integrate any clients that you might already have into the mix. Job Type Full-time, Permanent. Candidate requirements A general solicitor with ideally five or more years of experience in real estate conveyancing, mortgage transactions, foreclosures, and wills and estates; a member of the Law Society of British Columbia in good standing; a candidate who also has experience with general corporate work may be preferred.
