Includes: Sweeping floor Wiping down equipment Ensure correct information is recorded in time and attendance system Ensure production information is recorded in the in-process quality system Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner Proper use of shop supplies Perform other duties as assigned WHAT YOU WILL NEED Secondary school diploma or high school equivalent as a minimum; Must be able to obtain a valid Crane Operators Training Certificate Must be able to obtain a valid Forklift Truck Training Certificate Ability to read a tape measure is an asset Maintain a level of education necessary to keep pace with new manufacturing technology and company requirements. Machine Operating experience considered an asset Experience in Material Handling techniques is an asset – Use of cranes, slings, chains Must be able to work straight afternoons, if needed (Monday-Thursday, 4pm - 3am) Steelway Building Systems provides accommodations to job applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
