Job DescriptionJob Description General Labourer – Warehouse Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Pay Rate: $18.15 per hour Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available Start Date: Immediate Position Overview We are currently seeking motivated and reliable General Labourers to join our warehouse team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This is a physically demanding role involving trailer unloading, order picking, and handling large appliances and commodities. Permanent opportunities may be available for the right candidates. Key Responsibilities Unload trailers and handle large appliances and commodities. Pick and prepare orders accurately and efficiently. Move, organize, and stage products within the warehouse. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Follow all company health and safety procedures. Requirements Minimum previous warehouse experience required. Ability to regularly lift between 50 lbs and 75 lbs. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience using material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and dollies. Clamp Truck experience is considered a strong asset but is not required . Must possess CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear. Ability to communicate effectively in English (speaking, reading, and writing). Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic. Must provide a clean criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with a valid work permit, Permanent Residency, or Canadian Citizenship. Schedule Operations run seven days per week between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM . Most shifts are 8.5 hours , including a 30-minute unpaid meal break . Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule and be open to various shift times and days. Full-time employees typically work 40 hours per week . Part-time and flexible schedules are available for candidates seeking supplemental income. Overtime is paid after 48 hours worked per week , in accordance with provincial regulations.
