Job DescriptionJob Description General Laborer Job Overview Support a pipe coating production operation in a hands-on, safety-sensitive environment. You’ll operate equipment, handle materials, assist with coating processes, and keep the work area clean and organized. Key Responsibilities Operate equipment and control panels to support pipe coating production Move and position pipe safely to maintain workflow Assist with coating preparation, application, and finishing Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards Load, unload, and stage materials for production Use hand and power tools (primarily grinders) as needed Maintain a clean and safe work area Participate in safety meetings and training programs Work with team members to meet production targets Follow all safety procedures and guidelines Perform other duties as required Requirements Experience in general labour or manufacturing environments Comfortable using hand and power tools (grinders preferred) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly Experience working around heavy equipment is an asset Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork skills Willingness to learn and take direction Ability to work 10-hour rotating shifts (days/nights) Reliable transportation (site is not transit accessible) Safety-focused mindset Nice to Have Experience with material handling, production, or yard operations Familiarity with union environments Attention to detail for inspections and quality checks Willingness to work occasional overtime Schedule & Work Environment Location: Camrose, AB (industrial facility) Shifts: Monday–Friday, 10 hours Days: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Nights: 6:00 p.m. – 4:30 a.m. Rotation: 2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights Occasional weekend overtime available Indoor work to start; some outdoor work may be required Work involves heavy equipment, machinery, and physical labour Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Camrose, AB.
