Job DescriptionJob Description Overview S2F Global Resources is seeking an experienced Gas Plant Operato r to support a midstream client at a gas processing facility in Grande Prairie, AB. This is a 6 month contract role, with potential to convert to a permanent employee position for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Operating and monitoring plant systems, including compression, dehydration, amine sweetening, and refrigeration. Carrying out routine rounds, readings, sampling, and equipment checks. Responding to upsets and alarms, and troubleshooting process issues. Managing isolations, lockouts, and work permits for maintenance. Working safely alongside maintenance crews, contractors, and fellow operators. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of gas plant operating experience. 4th Class or 3rd Class Power Engineering certification. Hands-on experience with compression, dehydration (glycol), amine, and refrigeration systems. Comfortable with permit-to-work and lockout systems. Willing to work a rotating day and night schedule. Based in or near Grande Prairie preferred. What’s Offered: 7 on / 7 off rotation. Crew change transportation from Grande Prairie. 1 hour of paid travel time per day, at straight time.
