Alf Curtis Home Improvements is a 3rd generation family business which was started in 1975. Today we have three locations with over 50 employees. Health Benefits and Health Care spending account available after 3 months employment. We are looking for a Shipper Receiver/Yard Supervisor for our Lindsay store location. Job Summary A Shipper Receiver/Yard Supervisor will be responsible to greet and assist customers with fast and friendly service. Work with customers throughout their experience in our yard and warehouses. Delivering and loading their purchases and putting away material shipments. This role will be responsible to organize delivery and yard staff as well as receiving and building loads for shipment including receipt of product into our computer system. This role would report to the Branch Manager and Operations Manager. Hours of operation are: Monday through Friday 7am – 5pm Saturday 8am - 12pm Pay Rage: $20/hr - $23.50/hr *Depending upon experience* *Based upon a 80 hour pay period (42 hours one week and 38 another) every other Saturday to be worked* *Possibility of overtime if required but* Job Duties/Requirements (To include but not limited to) · Organizing staff to perform duties · Ability to use computer fluently (Point of Sale System and Microsoft 365 platform) · Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge · Re-fill inventory in its designated locations · Assist with inventory management · Participate in any promotional activities · Ensure loads are accurate and loaded safely · Ability to multi-task and learn quickly · Ability to work in a fast pace environment · Ability to work individually as well as part of a team · The job does require regular physical labour as well (50+ lbs lifting) · Detail oriented · Attend both product and safety training sessions provided We thank you for taking the time to review our job posting and hope that you make the decision to apply with our family run company.
