Bread Barons Ltd. is looking for a dedicated Route Manager to lead our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations in Edmonton and the surrounding areas . The Role at a Glance As a Route Manager, you aren’t just a driver; you are the face of our brand and the primary engine behind our distribution success. You will manage the end-to-end performance of your assigned route, ensuring our customers’ shelves stay stocked, fresh, and organized. What You’ll Be Doing Route Execution: Complete daily deliveries within strict windows while operating your vehicle safely and maintaining a professional setup. Inventory Strategy: Place and adjust customer orders based on sales trends and promotions to maximize profitability and minimize waste. Merchandising Excellence: Maintain high store standards through proper stock rotation (FIFO), shelf presentation, and display management. Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for store staff, resolving issues with a professional and calm demeanor. Documentation & Accuracy: Manage stales, returns, and credits with precision while using our digital tools for reporting and photo documentation. What You Bring to the Table The Credentials: A valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license (or higher) with a clean driving abstract. The Schedule: You are a morning person! You’re comfortable with early starts, variable schedules, and working peak seasons or holidays. The Drive: You can work independently with minimal supervision and have basic math and time-management skills. The Tech: Comfort using smartphones and apps for ordering and internal communication. Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 kg (55 lb) and handle repetitive bending and reaching throughout the day. Preferred Assets Experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) or grocery merchandising. Experience operating commercial vehicles like cube vans or 5-ton trucks. Why Bread Barons Ltd.?
