THE ROLE
As Front Desk Attendant Sports Center, you will greet visitors, establish nature of business and direct visitors to appropriate area or person. You will ensure access to the facility, equipment and services is by authorized clients only. You will provide clients with information regarding the facility, services and activities. You will open and close the facility in accordance with security regulations. You will collect admission and registration fees for classes, activities and clubs, and issue receipts. You will operate the cash register, prepare deposit at the end of shift. You will also maintain a petty cash fund and prepare and maintain registration lists.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered
Current CPR and basic First Aid qualifications
Experience
In cash handling
In operating a cash register
Competencies
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual (English and French) Essential

OTHER INFORMATION
This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
PSP:
Keep our Canadian Armed Forces operationally ready and their families and military community healthy as part of the team at Personnel Support Programs. Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.
