Our editors turn raw shoot footage and existing clips into polished, on-brand deliverables that go directly to clients, often on tight timelines and in several formats. We're growing and want dependable editors in the rotation. Strong editing is the baseline. What sets our best people apart is how cleanly they run the process around the edit. In the same email, please also include: Your portfolio link (two or three of your best short-form or branded edits is plenty) Confirmation that you edit in DaVinci Resolve Your real weekly availability The role at a glance Fully remote, work from anywhere Contract, paid per video / per project (rate agreed up front based on scope and length) Part-time to start, in an ongoing rotation with room to grow as we scale Starts with a short paid test edit on real footage What you'll do Cut short-form social video from raw shoot footage and existing clips, following the editing brief for each project Deliver in multiple orientations (9:16, 16:9, 1:1, 4:5) and to spec on length, pacing, and brand look. Reframe shot by shot when the ratio changes so logos and supers stay visible, rather than a straight crop Colour grade cleanly: convert Log footage to a standard colour space first, then light manual correction. We keep it natural and brief-led Choose music from approved copyright-free libraries, and confirm direction before locking for taste-sensitive clients Run your work in Frame.io: stack each new cut as a version on the existing asset, name files clearly, and make sure client share links open without a login Handle revision rounds carefully: apply every requested change, resolve or reply to every comment, and re-watch the full cut against the brief before you send it Do a real self-QC before handoff: correct supers and fonts, runtime and aspect ratio to spec, right music, brand-safe, nothing off-brief Log every deliverable link in our project system (Notion) so the whole team has one source of truth, not a link buried in chat Communicate clear ETAs and give an early heads-up if a deadline is ever at risk What we're looking for Proven short-form / social video editing, ideally branded or commercial work You edit in DaVinci Resolve, or you're ready to switch to it fast (we collaborate in Resolve Cloud, so the team runs on one editor) You treat the brief as the brief and hit it precisely, and you ask early when something is unclear rather than guessing Genuinely organized and reliable. You close the loop and don't need chasing A real QC mindset and detail discipline: right logo, correct supers, re-check the brief before you call a cut done Real, consistent weekly capacity, and clear written communication Nice to have Motion graphics and on-screen text / animation skills Experience in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle content Comfort working across many formats and fast turnarounds Why work with us Steady, ongoing work with a clear process, honest briefs, and quick feedback.
