Embedded Software Engineer
The Embedded Software Engineer will participate in complete embedded software development cycles for advanced wireless communication systems. The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated and reliable, competent in prioritizing and working independently and within a team setting.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, code, test and debug system software for embedded modules and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
Participate in design and code review
Document designs and support software QA
Requirements
Working experience in software engineering
C/C++ programming experience
Good understanding of RTOS principles
Strong knowledge on data communication and network protocols, especially Ethernet and TCP/IP
Skilled in problem solving and troubleshooting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with software configuration management tools and bug tracking tools
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Nice‑to‑have skills
OS based application development experience (Linux or other OS)
Assembly language programming experience
Perl, Tcl/Tk or other scripting language(s)
The FPGA Digital Design Engineer will participate in the development of our world‑class FPGA/SoC‑based wireless product solutions. Responsibilities
Design wireless signal processing, data processing and control modules
Maintain and add new functionality to our FPGA code base
Maintain and create FPGA projects
Contribute to system specification and architecture
Collaborate with hardware and software engineers for integration, testing and debugging – Participate in design and design review
Document designs and support design verification tests
Requirements
Proficiency with FPGA designs in VHDL
An understanding of Static Timing Analysis and Timing Closure techniques
Experience writing test benches and simulating digital designs
Experience with in‑system debugging of FPGAs
Experience with lab equipment for testing and debugging
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented with strong analytical and debugging skills
Bachelor or Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering
A minimum of 3 years of design and implementation experience
Nice‑to‑have skills
Knowledge of clock domain crossing techniques
Knowledge of wireless communications protocols and signal processing
Knowledge of protocols like PCIe, Ethernet, AXI4, Avalon, SPI, I2C, 3G‑SDI etc
Familiar with digital hardware designs
Experience with Python, TCL or other scripting languages
