Job DescriptionJob Description A Reach Operator (often called a Reach Truck Operator ) is responsible for safely operating a reach truck to move, store, and retrieve materials in warehouses and distribution centers. Job Duties: Operate a reach truck to transport pallets and materials. Load and unload products from racks, shelves, and trucks. Pick and stage orders accurately according to work instructions. Stack and store products safely at various heights. Inspect the reach truck before each shift and report any maintenance issues. Follow warehouse safety procedures and company policies. Perform inventory counts and assist with stock control. Use scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory. Keep the work area clean and organized. Assist with general warehouse duties as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (often preferred). Valid reach truck or forklift certification. Previous experience operating a reach truck (typically 6 months to 2 years). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) or more, as required.
