Pembina Co-op is seeking a full‑time Store Manager to lead our Food Store in Crystal City, Manitoba. What you’ll do: Reporting to the Director – Retail Operations, the Food Store Manager is a key leader within Pembina Consumers Co‑op and is responsible for the overall day‑to‑day operations of the Crystal City Food Store. In this role, you will provide leadership, direction, and support to a customer‑focused team while ensuring the store delivers trusted products, strong service, and a positive experience for members and customers in the local community. Lead the development and achievement of financial results and budget objectives, including sales, margins, expenses, and profitability within established guidelines. Provide operational direction and support the implementation of programs and policies that strengthen store performance, service standards, brand consistency, quality, and timely delivery. Build strong relationships as a liaison and public relations representative within the community, monitoring member satisfaction and identifying opportunities to enhance products, services, and the customer experience. Lead, coach, and develop team members through effective employee relations, recruitment, training, recognition, performance management, and accountability. Champion asset protection and health and safety practices to support a safe, efficient, and welcoming store environment. As Store Manager, your leadership will directly support the people who rely on our Food Store every day. Who you are: You are an experienced, people‑focused leader who is ready to grow a career in Food Store Management and contribute to the success of a rural community. You bring: Grade 12 education. Preference will be given to candidates with post‑secondary education in business‑related courses. At least 8 years of relevant customer service experience, with a preference for at least 3 years of leadership experience. A reputation for honesty, trustworthiness, accountability, and a results‑oriented approach. A collaborative leadership style, a commitment to building strong relationships, and an appreciation for the value that different perspectives bring to shared success.
