Bella Coola Valley Inn-Restaurant & Pub is located at 441 Mackenzie Street, Bella Coola, BC V0T 1C0. We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Food Services Manager. Position: Food Services Manager Wage: CAD $39.00/hour Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays) Working hours: 30- 40 hours/week Benefits: 4% of vacation pay Job Duties: Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the daily operations Plan and control budget and inventory Determine type of foods to be offered and implement operational procedures Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies Review and adjust staff schedule when necessary Recruit and oversee staff training, conduct performance reviews Resolve customer complaints and ensure provincial regulations are followed Hold staff meetings, resolve staff complaints and suggestions Negotiate with clients for catering or use of restaurant for events Manage catering, events, advertisements Job Requirements: Completion of secondary school; and Minimum 3 years of work experience in the food service sector including supervisory experience is required.
