Job DescriptionJob Description Food Production Worker Location: Richmond, BC Pay: $19.00-$20.00/hour Shift Options: Monday-Friday +Weekend Overtime as needed Morning Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (Transit is NOT available for the morning shift) Afternoon Shift: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM Job Description We are hiring reliable Food Production Workers to join a busy food manufacturing facility in Richmond. This role involves packaging products, labeling, boxing, palletizing, quality checks, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Package and label food products according to company standards Box finished products and stack cartons onto pallets Perform visual quality inspections and report defects Complete basic production and quality control paperwork Rotate between different production and packaging stations Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow food safety, GMP, and workplace safety procedures Work efficiently to meet production targets Support team members and production needs as required Requirements Ability to stand for the entire shift Ability to repeatedly lift up to 40 lbs Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment Able to work in a cool food production environment Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Basic English communication skills Steel-toe boots required Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in food production, packaging, warehouse, or manufacturing environments Experience working on a production line is an asset Familiarity with food safety procedures and quality standards is an asset Reliable Transportation is preferred Why Apply? Employees work around production equipment and conveyors while following strict food safety standards, including wearing required PPE such as hairnets, gloves, lab coats, and steel-toe boots. The facility maintains a cool working temperature and values teamwork, reliability, and safety. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, BC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.90 - $19.90/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
