As our Food & Beverage Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in shaping the dining and hospitality experience for our members and guests. From leading and developing an exceptional team to driving service excellence and operational success, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day - all while working in a stunning, outdoor environment.
How you’ll spend your day:
Overseeing daily food and beverage operations across the Deerfield Pub, banquets, events, tournaments, and on-course services
Delivering exceptional service standards and ensuring a consistent, high-quality guest experience
Leading, coaching, and supporting a dynamic team of supervisors and service staff
Participating in recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of team members
Acting as a hands-on leader during peak service periods, events, and tournaments
Managing inventory, ordering, and cost controls to meet financial targets
Monitoring labour, food, and beverage costs, and identifying opportunities for improvement
Collaborating with the Executive Chef on menus, pricing, and seasonal offerings
Partnering with the Event Coordinator to execute events, banquets, and tournaments
Ensuring compliance with food safety, liquor service, and occupational health & safety standards
What will help you thrive:
5+ years of experience in food and beverage management, hospitality, or club operations
Proven leadership experience in a service-focused environment
Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards, inventory management, and cost control
Valid food safety and liquor service certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
A natural ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
