WORK MODEL
Primarily remote.
Coming into the office ~ once every month or two.
Typically for team events or collaboration sessions.
No fixed weekly hybrid schedule.
The team avoids requiring office attendance during busy periods such as month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
Candidates must reside within approximately a two-hour driving distance of the Corporate Office.
ROLE
This is a newly created role designed to support and oversee the monthly financial close process for the Reinsurance business and related legal entities.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing and approving all journal entries prepared by members of the Insurance Financial Reporting team.
Reviewing and approving reconciliations completed by the team.
Supporting the ongoing enhancement of financial reporting processes within the reinsurance function.
REASON FOR OPENING
Newly created position due to continued growth within the Reinsurance business.
TEAM SIZE
Reports directly to the Director, Financial Reporting.
No direct reports initially.
This role will likely provide dotted-line leadership to a number of Senior Analysts.
Team growth is expected over time.

OMPENSATION
Total compensation consists of multiple components:
$95,000 to $120,000
Dependent on candidate experience
Bonus
Target: 15%
Potential payout up to 22.5% based on performance
