Job DescriptionJob Description Field Service Technician Location: Hamilton, ON Salary Range: $23.00–$27.00/hour Tenure : Full-Time | Temporary to Permanent Work Schedule: Morning & Afternoon Shifts We are currently seeking a mechanically inclined Field Service Technician to join a growing industrial manufacturing team in Hamilton. This position involves assembling, installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy industrial equipment both in the shop and at customer sites throughout North America. Responsibilities: Assemble and install industrial equipment and mechanical systems Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and technical specifications Perform equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance Install piping systems and mechanical components Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and overhead cranes Assist with rigging, hoisting, and positioning of large equipment Complete service reports and technical documentation Travel to customer sites across North America for installations and service work Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance, millwright, field service, or industrial construction environments Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience reading blueprints and engineering drawings Pipe fitting, equipment installation, or maintenance experience is an asset Forklift and overhead crane experience is considered an asset Valid driver's license and valid passport required Comfortable with frequent travel throughout North America Strong communication and customer service skills What We Offer: Competitive pay: $23.00–$27.00/hour Full-time opportunity with long-term potential Hands-on work with large industrial equipment Travel opportunities across North America Opportunity for growth within a stable and expanding organization
