Oceanside Family Medicine An exceptional opportunity has opened for two family physicians to join a friendly, newly renovated, private clinic located within the Oceanside Health Centre (OHC) in beautiful Parksville, BC. Join two welcoming physicians in an expanding practice. The clinic offers a collegial atmosphere perfect for peer support, consultation, and locum coverage. While this is a private clinic, staffing and HR are managed through Island Health, removing the administrative burden of personnel management. The clinic is fully integrated with the Mylé EMR. This clinic benefits from participation in the Oceanside Primary Care Network, providing direct, in‑practice access to a Registered Nurse (RN), Social Worker, and a Clinical Pharmacist. Being located inside the OHC means you and your patients have easy access to a comprehensive suite of Island Health services such as Urgent Care, Medical Imaging, LifeLabs, Home & Community Care, and Mental Health & Substance Use (MHSU) Services. Additional Information Start Date: ASAP Status: Two positions available. Full-Time or Part-Time Hours of Work: Flexible, Monday-Friday May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidy agreement including: Fee Premium – 4.62% Annual Flat Fee – $7,159.68 Recruitment Incentive – $10,000 (pro‑rated for FTE amount) Relocation Costs – up to a maximum of $15,000 (depending on location moved from) CME – $2,200/annum year 3‑4 and $4,400/annum after 4 years in the community The above amounts are current as of May 2025 and may be subject to change.
