Position Description: The Co-op Business Analyst supports client accounts and delivery teams by gathering requirements, analyzing data, and translating business needs into clear documentation and actionable insights. This role works closely with clients, Project Managers, and internal delivery teams to help ensure projects are aligned with client objectives, reporting is accurate, and processes continue to improve. CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32/hour. This role is an existing vacancy. Your future duties and responsibilities: Client & Stakeholder Support - Act as a point of contact for clients on assigned accounts, supporting communication and follow-ups - Participate in client and internal meetings to capture requirements, document action items, and communicate next steps - Help translate client needs into clear business requirements, user stories, or functional documentation - Build strong working relationships with clients and internal teams Business Analysis & Reporting - Support the PMO and Delivery Teams with status reports, meeting notes, schedules, resource requests, and risk/issue tracking - Assist with reporting and data tracking across a portfolio of projects (dashboards, financials, deliverables, and change requests) - Analyze project and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities - Assist in designing and maintaining standard and ad hoc reports and templates Project & Account Operations - Maintain data management systems and contracts repositories - Assist with preparation of presentation materials (reports, charts, and graphs) for clients and senior leadership Objectives & Targets - Timely and accurate updates to work plans and project documentation - Consistent delivery of program and project reporting requirements - Provide effective analytical and operational support to Project Managers and client accounts - Adherence to established processes while helping identify opportunities for improvement Required qualifications to be successful in this role: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort working directly with clients - Analytical mindset with attention to detail - Ability to organize information, document requirements, and communicate clearly - Effective listening skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (or similar tools) Nice to Have - Exposure to Business Analysis or Project Management concepts - Basic understanding of financial or cost metrics - Experience creating reports, dashboards, or presentations Skills: Business Analysis What you can expect from us: Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action.
